We are constantly looking for ways to improve the quality of the Trinity College CertTESOL certificate course and sharing ideas with colleagues in the teaching and learning sectors is a good way to go about it.
At the Congreso FECEI on the 22nd of February 2020 at the Hotel Rafael Atocha, Madrid, Spain, language schools from all over the country, English language learning centres, publishing companies and of course Trinity CertTESOL Spain were present.
The Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CertTESOL) is a TESOL or TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate designed for those with little or no experience of teaching English, and for those with experience who require an internationally recognised initial teacher education qualification.
It equips candidates with the basic skills and knowledge needed to take up their first post as an ESOL teacher. It introduces the theory and practice of English teaching and an insight into the challenges facing the learner and the role of the teacher.
Why should you get an accredited TEFL certificate?
Our Madrid TEFL Certificate course is accredited and externally moderated by Trinity College London. Trinity’s quality is recognised by the British Council and employers around the world.
Just look at a few quality job adverts and you will see a pattern emerging:
- UK job: A recognised teaching qualification such as Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL
- Italy job: Preferred: CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL
- Russia job: Hold a recognised qualification: CELTA, Trinity TESOL
