With the holidays right around the corner, it can be stressful to think of the perfect Christmas gift idea for your loved ones. Especially if you’re looking for something special and unique. Well, look no further, because the online EBC Trinity CertTESOL course is the perfect holiday present. In this article, we go over the reasons why it is.
Looking for the perfect Christmas gift
When it comes to finding the perfect Christmas present for someone you love, it’s important to consider several factors. Of course, it is always the thought that counts. You want to put love and thoughtfulness behind your choosing a gift for someone.
To help narrow down your search for the perfect present, think of something creative and something high-quality. A quality gift will be able to stand the test of time.
It’s also an excellent idea to go with a practical gift–one that your loved one will be able to use. And, of course, it’s a bonus if your Christmas gift is something that can benefit your person in the long run.
So, where can you find a high-quality and practical Christmas present that will benefit your loved one? Well, EBC has the perfect gift for you.
EBC’s 4-week, 20-hour OFQUAL level 5 Trinity Cert TESOL accredited online TESOL certification course is a Trinity College London accredited TESOL certification online course. It comes with guaranteed international acceptance, a job placement programme, and up to 60 university credits.
Let’s go over the qualities of this course that make it a great Christmas gift idea for your loved ones. Especially for those who want to teach English and even for those who want to move abroad.
The EBC Cert TESOL course as the perfect Christmas gift: Quality
The EBC Trinity Cert TESOL course is accepted and recognised by the British Council, which works in more than 100 countries around the world. The international acceptance of this English teaching certificate makes it easy to find a job anywhere in the world. This is one big reason why the course is such a great holiday present.
Furthermore, the course itself is a game-changer, as it meets teacher trainees wherever they are at. Whether they are experienced teachers or complete newbies to the TEFL world, the EBC Trinity Cert TESOL course will transform them into effective English teachers.
A Christmas gift with five foundation units
Another reason why the course is a great Christmas gift idea is because it covers a total of five foundation units.
- Unit 1: Teaching skills
- Unit 2: Language awareness
- Unit 3: Learner profile
- Unit 4: Materials assignment
- Unit 5: Unknown language
Each of these units is designed to help teacher trainees develop all the skills they need to become effective in their English classrooms. There are teaching practice classes that allow trainee teachers to apply the things they learn in class when they teach their groups of ELLs (English language learners).
The unknown language unit (Unit 5) is another really great part of the course, as it will allow trainee teachers to get a feel of what it is like to learn a language. This particular part of the course not only shows them that they don’t necessarily have to know the first language of their students to teach them English. It also gives them insight into the struggles language learners face. You don’t need to know the language of the country to be an effective English language teacher.
If for example, you want to work as an English teacher in Spain, you don’t need to know Spanish, but you do need to have a Trinity College Cert TESOL certificate.
The intensive course will give you your money’s worth and more, by turning even the most inexperienced English teacher into an effective one.
The EBC Cert TESOL course as the perfect Christmas gift: Practical
What else makes the EBC Trinity Cert TESOL course such a great Christmas gift? Well, it’s practical. The course is intensive, but during the four-week course, everything is online. This means that though you will have to plan ahead to set aside time for your classes and your coursework, you will still be able to take the course from the comfort of your own home.
People taking the course won’t have to worry about having to travel to class. This will allow them to focus on the course and have more time to complete the coursework.
Another thing that makes the course practical and therefore a great holiday present is that it comes with free, lifetime access to a job placement programme exclusive for EBC graduates. The course is designed to be sustainable, with measures in place to help teacher trainees even after they finish the course.
How does the job placement work? First, you finish the course. Then, you tell us where you want to work and which age groups and student profiles you prefer working with. Afterwards, you upload your CV on the EBC student management zone, and we send it to all our partner language schools in the city of your choice.
You want to teach in Madrid, Dublin, Tokyo, Seoul or somewhere else? It doesn’t matter, we will help you get an English teaching job anywhere in the world. EBC has put this programme in place because we are committed to supporting the teachers we train all throughout their TEFL careers.
Giving someone a TEFL course as a Christmas gift is one thing. It’s another to give them a TEFL course with an effective job placement programme in place!
The EBC Cert TESOL course as the perfect Christmas gift: Sustainable
Another reason why you should definitely consider giving someone an EBC Trinity Cert TESOL course as a Christmas gift is because it is sustainable. This course gives back to you in more ways than one.
Firstly, the job placement programme in place helps teacher trainees find an English teaching job right after their course. And, more importantly, it is lifetime and free, meaning at any point in their lives, they can use it to find an English teaching job.
And, if you want to step things up, you can opt to get your loved one the EBC Road2Spain package as a holiday present. This package comes with the online EBC Trinity Cert TESOL course and a one-year Spanish language programme.
With this package, people will get to study Spanish in Spain for one year at a Cervantes Institute-accredited school. The Spanish school will provide the official letter of invitation necessary for the one-year Spanish student visa. And, thanks to Spain’s immigration law, people holding Spanish student visas are allowed to work up to 30 hours a week. This is where the Trinity Cert TESOL course comes in.
The EBC Road2Spain package is designed so that by the time teacher trainees move to Spain to start their Spanish classes, they will already have completed their Trinity Cert TESOL course. They will be able to put their English teaching certification to use straight away.
This package is also a great holiday gift because it allows people to travel around Europe with their one-year Spanish student visa. Plus, there’s nothing quite like the life-changing experience of getting to live in another country. With the EBC Road2Spain, people get to teach, learn, and travel.
